As I lay on my creased sheets,
Paving a broken path into those memories.
I see,
A little girl in a dark corner
Shoulders drowned,teary eyes,
That heavy little soul,
Trying to grasp air between those heavy sobs!
Shattered dreams of a happy tomorrow ..
Another broken little human,
Seeking someone to hold,
A gentle hug from anybody in the world .
I see those failed attempts
As she pretends to lay on someone,
Into those cold walls,aah!there she collapses !
And I tried again to see beyond,
Except my shakey legs I could sense no more!
Maybe if I could, pat on her back !
And a kiss on those flushed cheeks .
She would know, I cared,since
To that little girl it would mean the world!
A little hope to hold on,
A little support to heal from.
