Hurtling through space,
The asteroid is here too soon
She was called to take my place.
Grief is destined to comsume,
But our love I won't erase.
I'll spin a silky cocoon,
A retreat; a safe place
I'll plot here in this womb
Until I run out of space
And come hurtling back to you
Determined to take her place.
