It was grey and cloudy out the calm before the storm
It was calm and peaceful
Then the rain started ever so softly
As it continued to steadly pick up
Harder and harder it started to rain as the sky grew darker
The storm clouds blew in
It started to pour and the thunder rolled in
The thunder got louder and louder as lightning flashed across the sky
It poured as the lightning struck the tree across from the field
The storm rolled in strong and steady
The storm was here
It stormed for hours and hours as lightning struck more trees in a field in the distance
The storm slowly started to roll out and the rain slowly started to stop
As the rain slowed down to a stop the storm was gone
A beautiful rainbow was left for someone to find their pot of gold
As the sun came out the sky was once bright again and sunny
A bright beautiful blue sky and that was the storm
