Not A Coincidence After All
Met by coincidence,
without a prediction,
of sharing,
a cup of coffee,
on a windy night,
The conversation began,
as a 360 degree look,
around a team,
of blowing leaves,
that had come from far,
With a full packed restaurant,
under the clear shining sky,
it was only possible,
to stay seated,
until the beauty,
of people watching,
had become a complete task,
We eventually started talking,
and saw each other as friends,
from a distant past,
The words wouldn't stop,
as the exchange of thoughts,
made us more and more alike,
Without the slightest clue,
of the reasons,
to be mysteriously placed,
at the same table,
We sat and sat and sat,
till closing time,
The world didn't seem,
like a big place anymore,
as this get together of two,
became a story,
in our books of life,
Amidst all,
the verbal expressions,
that took place,
the act of exchanging phone numbers,
was never done,
This failed to be termed,
as a coincidence,
in the pure dictionary of my soul,
I still visit,
the same venue,
in hopes,
that I might meet her again,
If I had a magical remote control,
I would go back in time,
