I wrote it in my diary today
It's funny, I never thought I would
After that day the clouds wept
The time perfection flawed
The hour happiness frowned
At the spot where purity sinned
It was a season laughter cried
At the second light died
A story shy to tell
And one vain to remember
I did write it down today
But after a second,
I tore it away
