The journey in this world is twisted apart,
There is a right path to fasten the grip of your heart,
And a seemingly smooth way to trip off in a glance,
Yeah, unblemished, but can corrupt your soul if with careless stride.

Learn and earn not to survive but thrive,
To survive is merely to eat, drink, and be merry in life,
While to thrive, you keep love and all your deserving rights,
So turn your heart to things beyond your naked eyes.

Stay on the road God has laid on your feet to tread upon,
Look nowhere else but straight ahead unto the vastness beyond,
And take no heed to what people see and say about you,
Learn that the heavenly covenant is ONLY meant for the hearts so true!

Let the assuming people criticize and judge,
Make them think they're perfect though they're just broken craps,
Know lies live in their hearts, and hypocrisies are pieces that abound,
Their reckoning eyes feast on you while tracking your faults like a hound.

But God is the perfect being who can understand your imperfection,
Being fashioned in the dust, in weaknesses you may stumble,
So hold fast to His promises and let Him guide you while on the track,
And believe it's NOT you or somebody else who can ever pull you up.
