As far as a letter goes,

It was nondescript,

The message it carried was sinister,

An irony, No one could decipher.

Who had send it, No one knew?

May be a cruel relative or friend, I had no clue.

"You are next", it had a highlighted text,

Written in red ink, Calligraphed to conquest.

There were mystery of abduction in the street,

May be a kidnapper or a wannabe thief?

What he craves, the intention was not clear,

Lust filled thoughts or a money hungry cadaver.

I yelled, I screamed, howled , my face embarked in perspiration,

The mystery of the letter was increasing my palpitation.

"O not me, I screamed out loud",

My mom came besides me and sat near my couch.

"You were dreaming my sweet girl", she informed.

Filled with tears, on her lap, with fear I bowed.

Alas it was just a bad dream,I am safe,

"The mystery of the letter solved", Now back I roared like a lioness, But in my cave.
