She is a lake surrounded by a desert;
Countering the dryness which it exerts.
She is persuading sun to leave her alone;
And let the night stars appear which last night were shown.

Its heat is sucking her water;
Which she once believed was immortal.
She is gazing with hope towards the west;
As he knows his daughters sufferings best.

He was rested on the bier;
Last time when she saw him near.
She hears some thundering from his direction;
He may have sent them because of his affection.

Nobody ever expected her surrounded desert’s fate;
The clouds turned it into an enormous lake.
But, she has messed up, her tears turned the
water saline;
As she hasn’t seen him since 2016.
