because my heart wants to cry
my mind wants to be steady
and my soul wants to fly
but, do they know i've tried already ?

I can't stand them fighting
i need them to comprehend
but they are faster like lightning
I can only hope they will blend

I've tried a bunch
my fingertips are starting to fade
and my landlord told me at lunch
i should have already paid

but the maid is running behind
the system has crumbled
I think I'm going blind
But maybe
I just need to be humbled.
