I forgive myself,
For the wrong choices,
And the paths I should have stayed on.

I forgive myself,
For the times I stumbled,
And fell along my way.

I forgive myself,
For the battles lost,
And the lessons that had to be taught.

I forgive myself,
For words left unsaid,
And the silence I did speak.

I forgive myself,
For the times I retreated,
When I should have persisted.

Finally, I forgive myself,
For not forgiving myself,
All that time ago.
