today is one of those days
something odd will tumble out
and it will have a meaning
or maybe not

it might be about my boredom
or the nostalgia that comes with
the passing of time

to look at everything and see poetry
even if the words to describe them
are not as beautiful as they should be
it takes courage to wake and say

this one will be written
and maybe another for tomorrow
and this is the formula.
i tell you, one day, this pen will be all and everything
i want it to be.
