My star

He's my star,
The piece I had been missing.
It feels peaceful with him,
Even amidst the chaotic state.

The pain ain't leaving,
So does is my star.
He's standing by me,
Through thick and thin,
But deep down,
The fear is lingering right inside.
The fear of my star fading,
Will he leave me when my world begin to crumble?
The walls I've built around me, safeguarding the little piece left of me, will he trespass through it and take that piece away, instead of trying to fit in among the little pieces?

The questions keeps coming,
I've asked so many times,
And reassurance is what I get.
He is indeed my star,
The star that brightens up my dark life.
Filling me up with an unknown happiness.

Life is like a puzzle, you need to look for the pieces to make your life work out.
He is indeed my missing puzzle, that would help me locate the other missing puzzles.

I am different,
And he knows,
But, he isn't fazed.
I'm doubting
Do they really exist?
Maybe they do,
Maybe they don't.

He is indeed my star,
Sitting in my dark heart,
Twinkling right inside,
Making me feel alive,
That I still feel something,
And not some ice cube.
