Making you wonder where you went wrong
What might have happened
Reminiscing your last conversation
Had you said something wrong
You regret why you reached out
You could have kept quite and avoid that
Promising yourself to never do it again
At the back of your mind, knowing you will
You pend days regretting your decisions
Wishing you had never met them
Or could swipe their memory clean
And start of better
As you always do
With a caring and forgiving heart
You give them another chance
Thinking they will change
And perhaps treat you better
But they never do
As you should have known by now
All that is left is to try and heal
