"Stranger in my House"
There's a stranger in my house..
That is me..
She hides in the background
Where no one can see
To notice her
you would have to care
not in this house
attention is rare
The one person she lives for
has forgotten what they once shared
makes her wonder, did he ever really care?
She knows she doesn't belong
by the look on his face
She cowers from his blows
wishing she could leave this place
Still there is hope
in this house with no love
she believes in the power
the power from above
Her face tells a story of
a woman done wrong..
used and abused
this. stranger is so confused
Who am I?
Where do I fit in?
Stranger...that's me
forever and again
