Tangent Line
I was once a simple line,
I was quiet and alone.
Filled with connecting dots,
With certainty and no doubts.
You're another line,
Looking happy and fine,
But filled with confusion,
Like you've lost your direction.
We're parallel lines,
We can look at each eyes,
But we can't hold hands,
Nor cross each lands.
Then, I made the mistake,
When I still took a step,
Even when we shouldn't intersect,
As what geometry speaks.
I've reached you at the center,
I swallowed my doubt and fear.
You suddenly enclosed your self,
A circle I once touch but couldn't have for myself.
Now, I'm no longer a simple line,
I'm no longer quiet but still alone,
I am now a broken tangent line,
And I don't know if I'll be fine.
If I can bring back time,
I'll change our rhyme,
Can we go back as parallel lines?
When I'm just a simple line?
I was quiet and alone.
Filled with connecting dots,
With certainty and no doubts.
You're another line,
Looking happy and fine,
But filled with confusion,
Like you've lost your direction.
We're parallel lines,
We can look at each eyes,
But we can't hold hands,
Nor cross each lands.
Then, I made the mistake,
When I still took a step,
Even when we shouldn't intersect,
As what geometry speaks.
I've reached you at the center,
I swallowed my doubt and fear.
You suddenly enclosed your self,
A circle I once touch but couldn't have for myself.
Now, I'm no longer a simple line,
I'm no longer quiet but still alone,
I am now a broken tangent line,
And I don't know if I'll be fine.
If I can bring back time,
I'll change our rhyme,
Can we go back as parallel lines?
When I'm just a simple line?
