The Ocean
The crashing of the waves
That cool breeze within the shores
Aloof the cities of despair, the blue sky paves
Unpleasant emotions floated like vapours

Waiting for the meal to cook
Anticipating what will happen next
In a distant you all took a look
The serenity leaves you perplexed

Can we just settle for "All's well that ends well"?
A murmur you heard somewhere from the distance
This fun will never last and it will bloom, isn't it swell?
Hope you all can do this again, for the next, y'all had plans

Then he arrived, convincing you to take a splash
You were all persistent, but frankly, that looked fun
You all stood, changed to bathing clothes and then took a dash
Laughter and water splashed, below the scorching sun

One was too naive to jump, scared to drown
He was overthinking, got scared and backed down
But your love gave him courage, a renown
Then, he went back, smiling, not wearing a frown

Yet, crashing waves are its sign of its anger
Ripcurrents, drags you away from the shore farther
Tsunamis wipe off everything weak in its path, a typical horror
Water spouts visible, spawning overwhelming danger

We all know oceans can be violent amidst storms
But, its beauty is undoubtful in the world of forms
Up there, it's calm and refreshing
If we can just forget everything, an act of forgiving

The beauty is within our bonds, not mermaids, they're just a lore
After that, I found myself sitting on that distant shore, on exile
Please, do not be scared when the rain does start to pour
That boy is hoping to see you again, to reconcile
