i realize now
where i made the mistake;
providing you these vows
when you weren't ready to partake

my mentality
attached to a love
that we couldn't together embrace;
didn't think that we would break

such distaste has
welled up for myself and my
extreme expectations
acceding and assuming

naiveity focused on me and you;
selfishly alluding

attempts to create
loving necromancy
have only enlightened me

to all of your discrepancies
