Shadows rise lies unfold,
Darkness flee hearts bleed,
People hurt from pains unknown,
Faking a smile to get through days,
But crying in sleep all nights.

A heart size of an ocean,
Forced into a mustard seed,
To cope with the ruthless world,
Prying away all virtues,
Embracing all vices.

I try to fake but am too real,
To pretend to be a rock,
I hurt, face pain and joy,
Endure grief and sorrow,
And I embrace all,
Cause that's what makes me human,
Am HUMAN.
