The Reaper's Rose
On the first part of the journey
I could see through the city's light
As people kept on passing by
While the clouds poured down rain
As your eyes became god above
You're gaze could part the clouds

You could give the desert rain
And reshape all terrain
If my words could say one thing
It would only be your name
But then one day
You would eclipse the sun

As my eyes turned black
After three days there was no more sun
I became the symbol of death
And the city implode
Oh, the pour souls
Now the entire Earth is dead

You see if my words could say one thing
It would say to bring back the rain
Dry as the desert that's all you be
This reaper's rose is all you'll bleed
