A terrible nightmare it is,
Life like hell not worth living,
How i wish it's just a dream,
Never wants to wake up and witness it,
Hopes and dreams crushed and destroyed,
As if we are in an imaginary world.

A life we never desired to have,
Where elders are in pain and suffering,
Youth tied up to hard labour and struggling,
Having to be chained with poverty,
Happiness lost in our children faces,
Whipping and hoping to survive this race.

Reality we never longed for,
A hell we wished we could destroy,
And rise up one day again,
Life of a ghetto,
We wish to leave and let go
Prosperity and success we yarn for daily.
