Hopeless Romantics
If the kaleidoscope of life and love were written like a fairy tale,
Surely we will graciously succeed.
However it is a game of chess,
Sadly given the role of a pawn,
Hoping for check mate as the new queen.

Destinations of blurred lines,
Ancient and aging like fine wines.
The psyche plane,
Forever one jumbled mess,
Collateral puzzle pieces,
Like dull glass splinters.
Wavelengths transcending beyond what we know,
Reality and fantasy all in one show,
Every day is pisces season,
So much so daydreaming should be high treason.
No one can comprehend
The start and finish of a Pisces head.
The zodiac of daydreams
Dimensions of life and imagination all woven intricately in one web.

It is not a play of innocence but one of realism,
Where webs of chances and risks are woven together against us.
The thin line between love and lies,
A doorway leading to potential pain,
Catrosphoric "tooth" ache from the sugar rush,
Trifling heart ache from the armed knights and bishops.
Surely we will graciously succeed if it were like a fairy tale.

Aces and clubs tossed around,
High hopes and high stakes,
Adrenaline pumping through our veins,
Dipping dramatically into the disappointment lanes.
Life and love,
Two entities seemingly conflicted,
Perfection or perception?
Which one is it?
Surely we will graciously succeed if it were like a fairy tale.
