FORBIDDEN SHELF🦪
-
(a poem about gratitude)
-
He never had much of anything...
He always had himself...
He never had much wealth...
But he showed a little stealth...
Everytime he learned new things...
Tinkers, trinkets, of such...
-
He put it on his shelf.
-
Arguably, as he would say...
If he could have it any other way...
-
He wouldn't have a shelf himself,
-
You see the way the story goes...
Or more so...
As so the story was told...
-
The day,
-
His Mother found a Pot O' Gold...
Right before his birthday...
Of 2 yearling old...
-
Let me first tell something to you,
-
Now with this Gold...
You know...
-
This Gold was very Old...
Older than the Story told...
-
And so they say,
-
His Mother rode...
From dusk til dawn...
Through every towns bitter cold...
-
Trying to trade...
The very old...
Pot O' Gold...
-
For the birthday...
Of her...
2 yearling...
