Lost in my thoughts,
The full moon gazes right at my heart,
The wind blows against my hair,
My mind searches for someone to share,
All that I have been bottling up for the past 3 years.

My palm wanders for fingers to hold,
Sapphire and Ruby stones,
Can't make up for the love I held for her in my eyes,
I knew the moment I fell i'll have a hard time.

Her scent fills my head, a fragrance I can never forget.
She's got the look of pure joy, eyes that mesmerise,
Warmth of an infant and a heart so big,
But too small to accommodate my love.

People around tell her, but she seems to ignore.
Just the sight of her with another man crushes me to my soul.
Sometimes all I wish is for her to be happy,
Whether it's me or another man she'd never leave.

I thought it'll be easy to move on,
And that time would heal all my wounds.
What I lie I hoped would be true,
Unfortunately I still long for you.
