Riding the Wave
Inspiration you devil I know
You come to me often in shadows
Often at 3 am the words come a flooding in.
When I was much younger I could quickly ride your wave so early in the morning but now that I am older I often just roll over and go back to sleep
And later in the morning when I wake up the wave is gone but the words linger and haunt me.
And so in this new year I have made myself a promise that I'll become a wave rider again and conquer this devil I know.
