I am usually happy and fine
it's when I'm alone that I somehow find
something to make me angry and sad
and to make me think thoughts I shouldn't have had
I think of the moments when you were near
and the pain your absence bought wasn't so severe
I think of happy days when my eyes were dry, and I wouldn't sit alone and cry
silence is what brings this out
making me to stand up and shout
shout to the world all the pain I have hidden inside
the pain no longer wishes to hide...
Whoever said silence is the key
must have not been able to see
all the thoughts that silence brings
and the song of loneliness and pain which
silence sings....🌿
