Time is ....
precious
fleeting
constant

To some it is a gift
one more day of suffering from desease
for some a enemy
a brief respite before the horsemen come

can time be stopped
can you hold its passage
approach the speed of light
outrun the horsemen
or enter a black hole
where not even time can escape
only unlikely choices for now
only darkness for now
but..
there's that word
the word that gives hope
and dispair
the same as ... what if ..
who knows what the future holds
to be free of time is to be free , to live without fear
without remorse
without love
for a life without time would be like getting stuck in quick sand not escaping nor sinking
unable to end life
unable to go to heavens door
time is a gift
and be grateful it ends
