SOLITARY BEACH
SOLITARY BEACH
Hither's a lone beach and sands all lonely,
Barren heaths sing songs alone.
Wade I quietly with zephyrs only,
Ruffling o'er the philosopher's stone.
For years I've walked and quested life,
Amid the swathes of sycamores.
I've seen the waves unveiling strife,
That hides beneath those benthic doors.
I oft feel kisses of cold waves down,
Pulling desires close to earth.
Miles away from flamboyant towns,
A novice world doth fetes its birth.
Thither afar thru' the yonder waves,
I see a land much eldritch though.
A kingdom where no soul's a slave,
And happiness reins each wind that blows.
Worry not man but behold a while,
Thou art standing proud and tall.
Know not thou what more miles;
Ere thou shalt but hear His call.
'Tis the shore that each man fears,
And none ever had chosen it gay.
Aft long miles and drudging years,
Each soul beholds this final bay.
None ever can return with bones,
To unveil good truth to the mortal earth.
The final shore still waits alone,
With skies of joy and a blooming garth.
