Those City Lives
Those City Lives:

Darkish bright lights twinkling slower over there,
Cover the secrets of high blocks everywhere.
Those city lights startling one in a strange way,
One can hardly distinguish the night or the day.

Never ever try to ask anyone about your way,
Until you end your question they go far away,
How famous is a shop is shown by star marks,
Its profits are tripled on the days of discounts.

It is too much fun to drive between two spots,
The whole of petrol tank goes for parking lots.
Then, at a bus-stop you come across a crowd,
By the speedy traffic you feel like you’re cowed.

The lights, the city, the traffic all need things green,
Polluted air and refugee crowds unforeseen.
Oh, city lives! Do you live because of your shining lights,
Or are you dying slowly as you fight for your lives?
