I waged my greatest weapon, my pen
Ink spilled onto paper , clinging onto it
Like a limpet clinging onto a rock
As i marvelled at the blessings of Lord's house
I sang a song of testimony

The house of the Lord welcomed
The endless highways of misdirected beings
Those who have walked along the lonely streets
The lost souls and imprisoned minds
The inviscible prisons of fear and self doubt

The house of the Lord mended
The broken souls entering it
The deep shivers of its people
The torn and shattered on the reef
Those dwelling into deep slumber and despair

The house of the Lord allowed thy powerful play to go on
A harmonious melody of the choir
A wonderful duet by keyboards and guitars
Carrying away the excruciating memories encrypted in our hearts

The house of the Lord embraced
All that we were
Woven beside all that we were not
Not what happened to us but how we took it in
The shining pain were ours

The house of the Lord awakened within us
The phoenixes, rising from the ashes
Reformed and reborn
Giving rise to new versions of us
And restoring the lost sparks within

The house of the Lord breathed the word
Bringing phenomenal meaning into thy lives
Serenity prevailed
The enchanting whispers of Holy Spirit were heard
Timelessness of eternal moments

The house of the Lord
In it, hurdles were jumped over
Troubles were swept away by prayer
We felt light as feathers
With a will to embrace thy queerness of life

The brethrens friendly
Thoughtful biblical sagas abd fascinating trivia
Entirely feeding our minds
And like birds,
We spread our wings and broke free
And every moment was the beginning of the rest of our lives in Christ
