The sun rises and sets everyday,
An unbroken cycle of hope,
An awakening of expectations...

The moon shines in harmony with it's companions
An irresistible sight to behold,
Another day comes for us to prove our worth
Another night arrives to take hold of unspoken dreams.

Little flecks of life here and there, bypassing us in the fight for survival.
forgotten memories haunting us in the wild run for love.
Unpleasant regrets catching us in our later years.

And still the sun rises and sets
And still the moon shines
And still they both have everything and nothing to do with us
