Light in the Forest
A still moon pours orbs of light down like rainfall
that bounce along the top of a night fallen forest
piercing the dark veil of trees
they fall one by one into my cupped hands
my skin shimmers when they touch, and I feel a cold glow
as a tiny moon begins to take shape in my palms
