Deceitful eyes, a lying tongue
A heart that cheats, a love that's wrong
Promises broken, trust betrayed
A soul that's lost, a love that's faded

Idle hands, a mind that's weak
A heart that's cold, a love that seeks
To harm and hurt, to deceive and lie
A useless soul, a love that's died

They crawl in the dark, with secrets untold
Leaving scars, and hearts that grow old
Their love is a lie, a game they play
Leaving destruction, in their wake each day

Let us not waste, our tears or our time
On men who cheat, and hearts that are unkind
For they are not worth, our love or our pain
And we deserve, a love that's true and remains.
