As always you texted good morning
I said I love you
And so did you
Midway through the day you had something to say
You wanted to call it quits and you did
That night I cried my eyes out
But I slept
I woke up in the morning
Went about my day
Because even though it hurts I get it
Even though I'm mad I get it still
You chose yourself and I get it
I get it because love is not always a reason to stay
