Small Thoughts
Mom and dad are fighting again,
There's screaming and things flying.
I'm here in the corner pretending not to be alive.

Mom and dad are fighting again,
They're yelling and cussing while memories flash before my eyes,
I hold my emotions, stone face and cold,
Pretending my suicide succeeded.

Mom and dad are arguing once more,
My heart is pounding out my chest,
Protecting my family,
wishing for things to be silent.
