You're Everywhere But Here
I tried making cakes and cupcakes
to celebrate my own birthday,
but I remembered how you made one
for her to celebrate her birthday.

I tried having a coffee in my favorite
coffee shop where you once took me,
but I remembered how you book the
whole shop for her to celebrate her
being the first honor of their batch.

I tried walking on the seashore
to ease the heaviness inside of me,
but I saw you with her,
you two were dancing happily,
enjoying the beautiful sunset.

I was about to write a letter,
but I found out that you gave one for her
as you kneeled down on your knees
and sang a song for her.

“Ahhh…
Why do I see you everywhere
but here by my side?
Then again, you belong once here
then left when you met her.”

Everything I do and wherever I went,
I always see a picture of you together
and it always make my heart break.
Thus, I made myself bleed,
I stabbed myself with my pen
and left a letter on the bed where
we shared together before;
wishing that my ashes could atleast
be carried away by the sea where
our gazes first met because I just
can't live another day of the thought
I'd be seeing you with another.
