this mental war is breaking me open
i can't take the heat this battle field
my stripe worn out
my luck is on the table
bullets and bomb ricochet
I'm lying face down
blood on my face tears stained faces
all around, the bridge caving in
what must i do to save myself
from this battle field

butterfly on my face
the sun rays in my eyes
I'm tired from fighting for dare life
the innocence will cry
bullet proof!
