She toils through the day,
Without a word or a nay,
She earns her daily bread,
Not a tear does she shed...


Hope is her name,

For her hope is what she won't tame.

A future is what she sees,

Even though she earns peas.


She will not give up as long as she lives,

This is because she still believes.

She knows her future is bright,

All she can do is sow until the time is right.


For her name is Hope,

Which is why she always tries to cope.
