I'm fine
Unseen, Unheard, Unspoken it was,
Where shrill giggles and baffled whispers collide.
Clashes shatter, only thickening the haze in my gaze;
Pens tapping like an anxious heart's frantic race,
And pages glaring, too white, too bright.

I breathe shallow, heart pounding in fright,
The sun starts setting low, casting only the silhouettes
Of that of a storm that never truly passed.
A cry for help builds up in my throat,
But I dare not let it out,
For I fear interrupting.

So I concealed it to as far as I'm here to bear,
Yet it's my silence that makes it harder for me to bear.
But I know I'm fine, just fine....
