My ticker pumped blood yes?
Blood and emotions now I realized
Emotions for another soul
Not just any soul, one that stole mine
A soul for which I did all
Alas! Love was on my porch
Made her glistening eyes my torch
Made her musical laugh my joy
Made her voice my favourite song

Feelings were on display
It only took a one statement
And I regrettted the day
My heartstrings attached to another mortal
Broken, like a glass bottle
I was running a race I'd never win
Love is a sin
Sin is executed, punished
My peace of mind vanished
My love banished
The soul famished
Craving for the noose
Letting the blood ooze

Not heartbroken; heart-torn
It takes two to tango, but she'd never love me
Never in a million years
I taste the salt in my tears
Reality rings in my ears
They've been confirmed: my fears

The soul is livid
The Holy Spirit tree was cut down
And it's fruit died, straight down the source
LOVE...depleted
On all fours, I crawl towards death's open doors
Because my love was
Unrequited.
