"From Darkness To Black and Light"
I would gladly fill your days;
Mine you would never believe...
Not withstanding, lend you darkness;
That , by your light I might see!
Your troubles would be my problem;
Mine could never be yours...
I could hide your tears by light;
While tears of darkness hit the floor!
In conversation, one never hears,
Nor sees among dark-lain trees...
Where endeavors never surely never grow;
And
Where lonely moments find bent knees!
Thus your demise has little hope;
Of ever becoming that of mine...
Trading for light, my darkness;
Black coal pouring out its' shine!
To wear your shoes and light my days;
And black and light, lend out mine...
With closed eyes, run for miles;
From darkness to black and light!
