YOU ARE
YOU ARE

You're a NOUN,
Not a place nor a thing
But a person-- that makes my heart pounds.

You're a noun,  I'm your PRONOUN
I'll substitutes-
I can function as you for better and sound.

I'm a VERB
I'll make my words into action;
Standstill- faithful and committed.

You're an ADJECTIVE,
But you failed to describe what you felt,
I'm here left confused what you really meant.

We are an ADVERB
We flame out to express our relationship;
For we thought, we're not compatible nor deserves.

I pushed myself to be a CONJUNCTION,
But I can't connect into your life
For you're yet connected to someone else; I'm just your option.

I'm an interjection,
I tried to put an exclamation
Just to caught your attention.

I'm a preposition
But I don't know where I should place myself
For I don't have space in your life.

By the flickering light of an ancient lamp,
By the twinkling waters of an ancient river,
The dancer entertains the heathen enemies.
This fascinating history forever etched in stone,
Is a monumental discovery...
