A lost comet runs along the star ways 
overwhelmed by light of the star's rays.
It spends all its days running.  
It too wants to shine, but it's stuck on the star ways.

A lost comet runs along the star ways.
Forced to hide even when the moons come to play.
It will remain hidden.
It wants to shine, just not today.

A lost comet runs along the star ways.
But the stars rays never go away,
and it realizes it will be stuck in dismay.
It will shine, far, far away.

A lost comet thrown off the star ways.
As a self made reject 
it is left alone in the abyss to decay.
It finally can shine, but it had to run away.
