Hey you writers from Asia,
Rise up in arms from the corners of Russia
Together with our colleagues from Australasia.
To the far flung continents of America.
Join the march oh you mighty ones from Africa.
I won't forget you all the Islands,
Planted all over the endless seas.
Let us all roam together
For we are family.

When your mind calls,
Brace your pen and please write.
Pour out on the paper,
The contents of your overflowing heart.
Let the peoples hear your words
The words of a gifted soul
That sees life with a different eye.

We may be miles apart
Yet our hearts overflow with words
Yes, we know not each other
But our spirits are somehow connected
By the undying power of the pen and paper.
Expressing the pains and joys of humanity
The hopes and travails of mankind
We are family.

Our hearts know no instructor
Our inborn talents spur us on
We feel the power of words filling our hearts.
We can't help but let them spill on paper.
As glad tidings
Words that say what everyone else does feel and know
But can hardly say out loud.
We are poets
Connected by our talents
Though we're a million miles apart!
