Everything & everyone beamed, reminding me to send my regards to the sun.
The world was seamlessly
Immacculate
Until a
Disruption
In the fabric of space/time suddenly occurred.
Everything spun. Everything froze.
The disruption came in the form of ocean-esque irises with piercing radiance, stealing the attention from the much boastful sun
Our 'biggest star'
Everything stood at a halt as I walked through the paused film in which the main character about to deliver an aside that would never come.
Audience unknown.
Books meant to fall stood stationary between potential & kinetic energy, defying physics in the name of beauty.
Music played but no speakers, no musical security blanketed my ears.
It all came from the pair of those
Stentorian Eyes.
Though eyes shouldn't speak,
those did.
They segregated me from reality while delivering its monologue through visual trickery & audio hallucinations.
Then,
as quickly as the earth paused its rotation & as long as this
3 second UNreality began
the moment's soundtrack ceased to play for me.
But its melody still crept through my temporal lobe.
Those cerulean eyes pulled over them their dermal comforters & earth returned to its
chaotic, assiduous subsistence
The universe pressed play & our lives went on...
In opposite directions.
