she was hurled and dragged
swayed and sinked
like a figure on display
but kept it all tied to herself
for she is in a morally lax society
where she was boxed to disappear
disappear into oblivion and domesticity
painted laughter, clouding norms
shifting stands, piercing gaze
all these disregards became her way
but still she crawled and crawled
till she stood on the grounds
grounds full of harsh cruelty and bias
yet, at the end
she was just another figure
figure that was to be cast aside
