I am labeled as "different"
I've always stood out
The things I find "interesting"
Others find "tedious"

Books over movies
Museums over malls
Outdoors over indoors

In the end I thought I was the one
Being left out...
But that is not true
For others cannot see
The magic in everything
Like I do

While one sees an animal
I see a long lost friend
While one sees a book
I see a new adventure
While one sees a cup of tea
I see home

Everyone is blind
But claim they can see
I've fell victim to this too
Until I had learned to open my eyes
Did I get to truly "see" the world for what it really is

For it's beauty
For it's enchantment
For it's peace

There is so much magic
Contained in such a small thing
That cannot be seen with just the naked eye
But must also be felt within the human heart

Take time out of your day
To enjoy the little things
For a wise man once said
"Enjoy the little things in life,
for one day you will look back
and realize they were the big things."
