it's over
In English we say “It’s over”
In poetry we say:In silence where echoes used to dance,
A whisper fades, lost in the trance;
No more the laughter, no more the song,
What once was right feels terribly wrong.
In the shadow of memories, a shattering light,
Promises crumble, dreams take flight;
The clock ticks softly, yet time feels still,
An end cloaked in sorrow, a heart unfulfilled.
In the garden of echoes, where love once bloomed,
Petals fall gently each a heart consumed;
Beneath the moon’s gaze, with a lingering sigh,
We gather the stars, yet watch them die.
So here’s the truth, bitter yet sweet,
In the ashes of what was, we find our defeat;
But like the dawn that will always unfold,
In endings, we write the stories untold.
