TAKE ME HOME

The old country side where I grew up
Of where little joy and sweet memories still lingers
As the beam of sunlight pierces through the thick woods
I lay awake in the spring morning lost in nature's profound beauty

Oh take me to the place where life was always gentle and meek
Away from all human's pride and prejudice
A place where love and care always reside
As gracefully as the breeze sweeps over the meadows

In the morning where the thick carpeted frost boast
And the meek winter sun shines graciously
Oh take me to that old country church
Where I used to sing hymns with old folks and kins

When the world is still waiting for the dawn
As the cities burns with untold misery
I wish to go back to my old country home
And sit by the warm hearth listening to the beautiful folklores and tales
