"Your Touch: Beyond the Breeze's Reach"
#WritcoPoemPrompt70
You took my pulse without ever touching me,
Like honey and flowers, you were my bumblebee
Your whispers, soft as petals in the
breeze.
Wrapped around my heart with such an ease.
Oh! What could these breezes do,
When your one touch was enough to make my heart anew?
And was it a disservice to compare you to flowers and bees?
For neither flower held the grace that in you I see,
Nor did the bees' buzz echo the depths of your voice's decree.
And like this, again and again,
you took my pulse without even touching
me,
But when you touched ,it was enough to make my heart anew.
