"You can't see me"
Smoke spreads over this town,
Hoping to rinse away
The tart taste of my rage,
And the chaos you embraced.

I made you believe I slipped away,
Yet on the branches, in the air,
My steps mark the spot,
My face in every locale.

On this blue-stained slope,
Text covers the room's vastness.
Flickering shadows linger still,
In each hall and every space.

Wading through this passing times,
Feel my presence all around.
Here, there, everywhere near,
Still, you can't see me.

You thought I'd stay quiet,
Assumed it'd pass over me.
Winter's chill won't claim my will,
Not an easy one to forget.

Cut the trees, burn them down,
My presence still marks the spot.
My face a ghost in every corner,
Still, you can't sense me.

Through grassy fields, months drift by,
Sensation lingers close.
I'm here, there, everywhere wide,
Yet you can't capture me.

Storming into your heart's core.
Above the shattered hopes you bore.

Blood splashes everywhere,
A new shade unfolds.
You light the fire,
It shine's, but burns not.

I'm written still in your walls
But you see nothing still
Is it that you're just blinded,
Or pretend to not see.
Or you don't believe it's me?

You thought what did was honest,
You said it's all in my head.
Yeah, you thought this is it.
But this is only a bend.
